I recently had the chance to step into the magical

I recently had the chance to step into the magical world of “Beyond Van Gogh.” In Victoria, BC. Imagine walking among 300 of Van Gogh’s masterpieces, all brought to life using state-of-the-art projection technology and complemented by enchanting original music. (You can find this playlist on Spotify) The details? They’re so crisp, all thanks to the staggering 4 trillion content pixels used in the projection.

This exhibit spans a massive 30,000 square feet, making it one the largest immersive experience in Canada! What sets it apart? Well, instead of the usual VR or static images, the art in Beyond Van Gogh moves, breathes, and even disappears, flowing over every surface. It genuinely feels like I stepped inside a Van Gogh painting — every brush stroke and colour seemed so real and vibrant!

If you’re a fan of art or just looking for a surreal experience, I cannot recommend this enough.

I’ve been wrapped up in packing boxes and moving

I’ve been wrapped up in packing boxes and moving and now unpacking boxes so I’ve neglected my Instagram for a little while. It’s time to make up for that and post what I’ve been up to in the past couple months! I just moved to Sooke, BC and I am excited to get out and explore Vancouver Island. Today I went for a short little drive and stopped at @stokedpizzeria for a delicious woodfire pizza and stopped at French Beach for some ocean time! Where should I go to next?

I spent some time by the ocean today thinking about and praying for my friends and family in the Kamloops, Shuswap, and Kelowna areas in the midst of the wildfires. I moved from there last weekend and am sad to hear of the destruction during the past week. Hugs and prayers. 🙏🏻💕
